NIC to design eSeva website - Visakhapatam

The NIC was told to make an estimate of the cost of the software

VISAKHAPATNAM:

The National Informatics Centre has been asked to design a website to enable the eSeva centres in the district to issue all the certificates needed by the people.

Collector J. Syamala Rao, at a meeting with the NIC and other officials on Saturday, wanted them to prepare the website for the convenience of the people.

He also felt the need to have a website to implement the citizen's charter in a fruitful manner.

Mr. Syamala Rao said the services at eSeva centres must be improved and issue of certificates must be simplified, and more transparent. The Collector also examined software of a web-based file-tracking system developed by the NIC to monitor the movement of files and their quick disposal.

This would not only quicken the movement of a file but also every file would be stored in the website.
The NIC was told to make an estimate of the cost of the software.
